Extensions - Short Lane, Billericay CM11

This dilapidated house was purchased by a regular client of ours, with the intention of renovating, extending and then selling it on. Through large side and rear extensions, that were very much pushed to the limits in terms of planning permission, we managed to more than double the floor area of the house. The project went very smoothly, although In a stroke of bad luck it transpired that a public sewer passed down the side of the property, and it could not be built over, so Humphreys and Sons achieved the necessary permissions for diverting the sewer around the extensions. The large increase in floor area, combined with the extensive renovation and re-landscaping works, yielded a very healthy profit for our client from this successful project. Humphrey and Sons produced all drawings and designs, planning permission, building regulations, pubic sewer permissions, and provided technical advise throughout the build.
